Each of these shots has a hazy dream-like setting and the overall feel of a fantasy. In each of these intriguing shots, the hidden girl is wearing a white dress. That's really all the viewer sees of her. However, in every photo she holds a [mirror in front of her face](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirroring-dialogue) that shows the reflection of the landscape in front of her. Audouard creates the dream-like state in these photos by gently blurring the background. The reflections in the mirror seem vivid and detailed and realistic, unlike the backgrounds in these stunning photos. In each shot this mysterious girl finds herself in a new, [colorful outdoor location](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorscape-installation), but blurring the photos makes them appear kind of eerie. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 90% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Manipulated Photos:** Opportunity for innovative photo editing techniques that create surreal and dream-like visuals. - **Hazy Dream-like Settings:** Opportunity to develop immersive experiences that transport users to fantastical worlds. - **Vivid Reflections in Mirror:** Opportunity to explore new ways of capturing and showcasing reflections in photography. ### Where This Applies - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in developing advanced editing tools and techniques for creating surreal and immersive visuals. - **Virtual Reality:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to create virtual reality experiences that replicate hazy dream-like settings and fantastical environments. - **Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in developing new camera or lens technology that enhances the capturing and rendering of reflections. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Travel-Themed Fractured Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baggage-claim-mirrors.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Artful Custom Mirror Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portraits-collection.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Dynamic Art Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-displays.md) - [Optical Illusion Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hooptical.md) - [Reflective Water-Themed Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lakes-collection.md) - [AI-Generated Retrofuturistic Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrofuturistic-objects.md) - [One-of-a-Kind Ceramic Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-mirror.md)
