Considering its behemoth nature, it makes perfect sense to have a [giant book](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/from-louis-to-vuitton) in the [giant lobby](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hotel-park-ave) of the giant building. The 15 foot tall logbook will document the design and construction of the Burj Dubai tower. Exclusive photos will be included in the book which will eventually be offered up at an auction. **Implications** - Whoever wins the auction is going to need to have really tall ceilings! The Chairman of Emaar Properties, Mohamed Ali Alabbar says that "Burj Dubai is a singular project that illustrates the success of collective human endeavor." He also states that a project as grand as this only happens "once in a lifetime." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Giant Logbooks:** The use of giant logbooks as a unique way to document the design and construction of large-scale projects. - **Exclusive Auctions:** The trend of offering exclusive items, like the 15 foot tall logbook, at auctions to generate interest and increase value. - **Monumental Architecture:** The growing fascination with monumental architecture, as seen in the construction of the Burj Dubai tower. ### Who This Affects Most - **Real Estate and Construction:** Opportunity for real estate companies and construction firms to showcase their large-scale projects with unique documentation methods. - **Art and Collectibles:** The auction industry can benefit from offering exclusive and unusual items, like the 15 foot logbook, to attract buyers and collectors. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** Hotels and tourist attractions can capitalize on the fascination with monumental architecture by incorporating features like giant logbooks as a unique selling point. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [10-Pound Monumental Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pentagram-living-by-design.md) - [Eco-Conscious Slim Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muraba-veil.md) - [Cube-Shaped Skyscraper Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mukaab.md) - [Sky-Garden Leisure Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-sobha-skyparks.md) - [Staggered Tower Texan Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1550-on-the-green.md) - [Floating Wetland Bookstore](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xixi-goldmye-bookstore.md) - [Thrill Ride-Topped Ultra-High Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-torch.md) - [Mixed-Use Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inaura.md) - [AI Art Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-art-book.md)
