The sculpture is modelled after a young girls head and was intended primarily as an [interactive piece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marine-ecosystem-sculptures) to allow visitors to walk through and around it. "My vision for Wonderland is to inspire everyone who experiences the sculpture: I believe the architecture of our bodies is the palace for our dreams," said the artist. It is made from a [wire mesh](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflector-sculpture) and stands at a staggering 39 feet, which for many photographers is an ideal subject to be used in their pictures. For photographer Mike Morrison, he found the giant head sculpture a very impressive sight, which provided a different viewpoint every step he took. If these pictures are convincing enough, it may just be time to take a trip to Calgary, Alberta, to see the art culture the city provides. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Regional](https://www.trendhunter.com/regional) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Interactive Sculptures:** Explore opportunities for creating interactive sculptures that engage and inspire visitors. - **Wire Mesh Art:** Discover innovative uses of wire mesh in art and sculpture, pushing the boundaries of traditional materials. - **Photography Destinations:** Identify potential destinations for photographers looking to capture unique and impressive subjects, such as giant head sculptures. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Sculpture:** Opportunities exist to disrupt the art and sculpture industry by creating more interactive and engaging pieces, such as giant head sculptures. - **Tourism and Travel:** Highlight the potential of art installations, like the giant head sculpture, to attract tourists and enhance cultural experiences in cities. - **Photography and Visual Arts:** Explore the growing demand for unique and visually striking subjects, such as giant head sculptures, in the photography and visual arts industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Future-Facing Sculptural Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eye-of-the-future.md) - [Interactive Kinetic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-kinetic-sculptures.md) - [Interactive Mountain Oracles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whispering-mountains.md) - [Outdoor Floral Sculpture Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptures-at-kew-gardens.md) - [Interactive Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/helix.md) - [Three-Dimensional Art Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3d-doubt-your-eyes.md) - [AI-Generated Statues](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-statue.md) - [Virant Monumental Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meow-wolfs-group-exhibition.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md)
