With a high-octane aesthetic that fuses [hot rods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Tattoo-Inspired-Land-Rover), hot cartoon babes and sizzling graphics into one consummately crazy whole, this collection of Gianluca Mattia is not the pinup artwork of your grandfather's era. Instead, it is a visceral and [spookily surreal combination](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jeffrey-deitch-art-gallery) of past and present sensibilities which crackles with energy, mischief and excitement. Gianluca Mattia's off-beat and highly-charged artwork may put off more conservative viewers, but there is no doubt that his works represent a progressive and refreshingly unique aesthetic that is certainly all his own. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Psychedelic Digital Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new ways to create and manipulate digital art using psychedelic and surreal aesthetics. - **Interactive Pinup Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop interactive digital platforms or installations that bring pinup art to life with animations and interactivity. - **Retro-futurism:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine vintage and futuristic elements to create a visually striking and nostalgic art style. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Digital Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Use technology advancements to push the boundaries of digital art and create new visual experiences. - **Gaming and VR:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate Gianluca Mattia's surreal artworks into virtual reality or gaming experiences for immersive and mind-bending gameplay. - **Fashion and Apparel:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with Gianluca Mattia to incorporate his unique visuals into clothing designs, creating bold and avant-garde fashion statements. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md) - [Psychedelic Skateboard Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia.md) - [Psychedelic Hand-Painted Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-iii.md) - [AI-Generated Retrofuturistic Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrofuturistic-objects.md) - [Marble-Patterned Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychedelic-interior.md) - [Burgeoning Psychedelic Art Movements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychedelic-art-movement.md) - [Artistically Rendered One-Of-A-Kind Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romero-britto.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Visually Morphing Muses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glitchy-bitches.md)
