Plus when Christmas comes around, you can switch the projector template to beam snowflakes. Available from Hammacher: Instead of spending hours up a ladder attaching lights to your house, take a few minutes to set this weatherproof [light projector](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laserabc-laser-show-projector) on your front lawn and transform your homes entire facade into an illuminated snowscape. The projector creates gently falling snow flurries or other images across a 60'-wide expanse by directing a bright white beam onto a rotating mirror ball. Turn the mirror ball housing and you can adjust direction (up, down, side to side, diagonal) of the flakes, while a simple switch adjusts rate of fall. The projector also comes with a set of additional [interchangeable slides](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/merry-sparkles-outdoor-decor) (eight total including snowflake slide) that slip into the lamp housing for a variety of images, including: deer, stars, balloons, skaters, [witches, b ats, and ghosts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oriental-trading). Projector rests on a stable stand. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Weatherproof Light Projectors:** Weatherproof light projectors offer a convenient and time-saving alternative to traditional holiday light decorations. - **Interchangeable Slide Projectors:** Interchangeable slide projectors allow for easy customization of projected images, giving users the ability to switch between different themes or seasons. - **Rotating Mirror Ball Technology:** The use of rotating mirror ball technology in projectors enables the projection of wide-spanning images and adds dynamic movement to the projected visuals. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can leverage weatherproof light projectors to offer innovative and eye-catching holiday decorations for customers. - **Event Planning:** Interchangeable slide projectors can be utilized in event planning to create themed lighting displays that can be easily tailored to different occasions and events. - **Technology:** The use of rotating mirror ball technology in projectors presents an opportunity for the technology industry to develop advanced projection systems with enhanced visual effects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Overhead Light Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xgimi-magic-lamp.md) - [All-In-One Festive Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lighting-experience.md) - [Spooky Life-Size Animatronics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beetlejuice-character.md) - [Halloween-Ready Animatronic Line-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halloween-animatronics.md) - [Seafaring Animatronic Halloween Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lowes-halloween-2024-collection.md) - [Sleek-Designed Home Theater Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horizon-ultra.md) - [Laser Home Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epiqvision-mini.md) - [Connected Lamp-Style Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/projector-concept.md) - [Ambient Mushroom-Shaped Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angelcare-magical-dreams-celeste.md)
