Showcasing a 360 degree view of its surroundings, this unconventional lighting accessory is a great solution for public spaces like shops, offices and industrial warehouse spaces. When illuminated, this globe inspired light fixture loses its reflective finish and provides a soft glow of mood lighting thanks to a light bulb that appears to float in mid-air. The Ghost Pendant Lamp by designer Nanu Al-Hamad is a great alternative for a surveillance system. While it illuminates a space, this reflective pendant lamp also resembles a traditional camera element, making the users of a space more aware of their surroundings and more likely to be impressed by its unexpected reveal when lit up. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Reflective Lighting:** The use of mirrored materials in lighting fixtures provides a unique and eye-catching design element. - **Spherical Illuminators:** Suspended globe-shaped light fixtures offer a 360-degree view of the surroundings, creating an immersive lighting experience. - **Mood Lighting:** Light fixtures that provide a soft glow of light offer a relaxed and calming atmosphere. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Reflective lighting fixtures can be incorporated into interior design projects to create visually stunning spaces. - **Retail:** Spherical illuminators can be used in shop lighting to create a unique and captivating visual display. - **Security:** Reflective pendant lamps that resemble cameras can be utilized in surveillance systems to add an element of surprise and enhance security measures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Horizontal Glass Sphere Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comet-pendant.md) - [Illusory Mirror Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirror-table-lamp.md) - [Dreamlike Bubble-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airshape-lamp.md) - [Eclipse-Inspired Whimsical Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-traveler.md) - [Encapsulated Semi-Transparent Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nested-pendant-light.md) - [Silkworm-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phantom-lighting.md) - [Translucent Bulbous Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-glow-light.md) - [Suspended Mirrored Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirror-collection-1.md) - [Otherworldly Lighting Fixture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otherworldly-lighting-fixture.md)
