The Gestations publicity stunt turned heads at Manhattan's lower East side. According to faux advertisements put up by the [bar locating application](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bar-dating) Batendr, a non-existent pub was set to serve expectant mothers, made evident in a giant sign reading "pregnant women's bar."

An image of a pregnant woman holding a bottle of champagne accompanied this publicity stunt. The Gestations [Twitter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rocktangle) page also posted a message, stating that "The bigger the belly, the more you can drink. True for men and pregnant women."

Although only a hoax, this marketing tactic is certainly worthy of a double take. Not only does the concept defy the norm insofar as any bar setting is concerned, the associated [Facebook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/what-the-fanta-1) page also claimed to handout pregnancy tests alongside pitchers.

For restaurant management teams looking to make a viral splash, this concept might be worthy of further investigation.
