German artist Markus Linnenbrink takes the term "one man's garbage is another man's treasure" to a whole new level with his Gestaltkunstwerk Vases. He literally takes [old pop bottles and juice jugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hmm-design) and smothers them with [psychedelic coats of laquer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meta-hardware) to make some pretty trippy [flower holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-vase).

The Gestaltkunstwerk Vases, which translated to English means "formed artwork", have the appearance as if they were carved from stone, with the laquer giving them a very sturdy appearance.

If you would like one of the Gestaltkunstwerk Vases, they are available for order off of his website.
