We're not talking about that Georgi Dimitrov. Do a little bit of further digging, and you'll find Georgi Dimitrov, the Bulgarian artist. It's worth the search, because Dimitrov is one heck of an artist. Using [graffiti-style designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1664-x-andre-saraiva) as his inspiration, his illustrations are every bit as wacky and weird as they are artistic. How else would you describe an image of a smiling apple that is being cut in two? Or perhaps a gun with a twisted barrel accompanied by the words "with hate?" Things only get more delightfully bizarre when you observe a [skeletal fish wearing a crown](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dish-pics) or a bird made out of nesting material. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Graffiti-inspired Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new ways to integrate graffiti techniques and style into traditional art forms. - **Quirky Illustrations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create unconventional and thought-provoking illustrations that push the boundaries of traditional art. - **Experimental Artistic Expression:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Embrace unconventional materials and techniques to challenge traditional artistic norms. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate graffiti-inspired art into various sectors such as graphic design, advertising, and fashion. - **Digital Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the digital realm to showcase and market graffiti-inspired illustrations and artworks. - **Street Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Transform public spaces into dynamic art installations by combining graffiti techniques with traditional street art. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Evolved Vibrant Graffiti Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jan-kalb.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Provoking Graffiti Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/david-ruggeri.md) - [Playful Doodle-Emblazoned Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sam-cox.md) - [Graffiti-Painted Homeware Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amour-collection.md) - [Digital-Themed Glitchy Visual Wallpapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glitch-wallpaper.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md)
