# Geometric Mirrors These Wall Mirrors were Created Using Different Abstract Shapes By Ady Floyd | Published 2015-08-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/geometric-mirrors References: [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/geometric-3d-mirrors-stonefox-architects/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=webfeeds) & [stonefox.us](http://stonefox.us/) Chris Stone and David Fox of Stonefox Architects created a line of interestingly shaped geometric mirrors. Each mirror is comprised of different shapes that are slightly angled away from the wall on which they are hung. These geometric mirrors use a colorful backing and framed boarders to add a playful contrast. The mirrors vary is size, color and shape. Some use bright blue and others have a bold red backing. Some of the mirrors use only two uniquely shaped rectangles and other mirrors have six triangles connected in a circular pattern. With numerous shapes and colors, these interesting mirrors add a creative piece of [wall decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/impulse-wall-light) to an interior living space. The mirrors are currently in the [Aspen Art Museum](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirroring-dialogue) as they were donated to the annual summer benefit called ArtCrush. They will reside on the walls of this exhibit to allow visitors a personal viewing before they are auctioned off. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 81% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Geometric Mirrors:** Creating unique wall mirrors using abstract shapes offers an opportunity for innovative and eye-catching interior design. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** The use of geometric mirrors presents a disruptive innovation opportunity in interior design, allowing designers to create visually striking spaces. - **Art and Auction:** The incorporation of geometric mirrors in art exhibits and auctions provides a new aesthetic and investment opportunity for collectors and galleries. - **Home Decor:** The introduction of geometric mirrors in the home decor industry opens up new possibilities for unique and artistic wall decor options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artful Hanging Contemporary Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ready-to-hang.md) - [Curvaceous Shelf-Paired Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wave-mirror.md) - [Geometrical Golden Ratio Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ascension-wall-mirror.md) - [Stunningly Bold Mirror Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bold-mirror.md) - [Wavy Dual-Action Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archvyli.md) - [Colorful Retro Pixel Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-mirror.md) - [Artful Custom Mirror Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portraits-collection.md) - [Travel-Themed Fractured Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baggage-claim-mirrors.md) - [Optical Illusion Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hooptical.md)
