The Mejd Studio of Bratislava, Slovakia, has designed a set of very elegant illuminators that occupy their own display cases. Effective as either [table lamps or pendant lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juba-tl1-table-lamp), these [sculptural fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape) are centered around sections of split spheres. The upper dome acts as a highly reflective lampshade, while the bottom serves as a multipurpose bowl. The rounded forms are spaced and secured to crossing rectangular frames by welding the brass material together. Finished consistently with gold-tinted silver coatings, the Exhibit geometric golden lamps become exquisite display cabinets, open to the air and inviting flowers and other ornaments to be arranged in the bases. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Geometric Lamps:** Designers can explore the use of geometric shapes in lamps for both functional and artistic purposes. - **Multipurpose Lighting:** The integration of lighting and functional storage in home decor items is an opportunity for innovation. - **Reflective Shades:** The use of highly reflective surfaces in lamp shades can enhance the brightness and aesthetic of a room. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The geometric golden lamps are an example of how home decor can be both functional and artistic. - **Art and Museum Exhibits:** The exhibit lamps were designed to symbolize the preciousness of artifacts in galleries and museums. - **Furniture Design:** The incorporation of lighting into furniture designs presents an opportunity for innovation in the industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Elegant Geometric Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/geometric-light-fixture.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Ultra-Chic Sculptural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design.md) - [Geometric Bar-Like Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/empyrean.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Middle Eastern Jewelry-Inspired Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/median-collection.md) - [Geometric Industrial Desktop Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-lamp.md) - [Creation-Centric Light Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/head-hi-show.md) - [Sculptural Metal Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape.md)
