In recent years, many consumers have expressed an interest in experimental home decor. This [angular lounger](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sedia-tonda) provides the perfect way for modern consumers to relax in style. Adjaye's geometric chair is part of his debut collection for 'Koll.' The chair itself features a series of sharp angles that mimic the look of a triangular prism. The base of the chair features a glossy black laminate, which contrasts the soft upholstery on top. In addition to the geometric lounger, the collection also includes an [sleek ottoman and side table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trama-collection). These additional pieces feature the same visually striking design as the lounge chair. The collection is ideal for urban consumers who are looking for furniture to complement their modern decor. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Experimental Home Decor:** The interest in experimental home decor creates opportunities for unique and avant-garde furniture designs. - **Angular Furniture Design:** The trend of geometric and angular furniture design offers disruptive innovation opportunities in the home decor industry. - **Urban Chic Furniture:** The demand for furniture that complements modern urban decor opens up opportunities for stylish and contemporary designs. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can capitalize on the trend of experimental and angular home decor by creating innovative and visually striking pieces. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can cater to the demand for furniture that complements modern urban decor by offering a variety of stylish and contemporary designs. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can take advantage of the trend of experimental home decor by incorporating geometric and angular furniture designs into modern urban spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Structurally Complex Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-arch-chair.md) - [Simplistically Shaped Geometric Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sitter-chair.md) - [Cozy Contemporary Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-bun.md) - [Curvaceous Padded Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/talk-chair.md) - [Futuristic Rooftop Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ls24-lounge-system.md) - [Minimal Geometric Chair Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/euclid-chair.md) - [Wavy Lounge Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wavy-lounge-chair.md) - [Leftover Textile Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sugar-lounge-chair.md)
