# Flexible Cord-Inspired Lamps The 2084 Lamp by Geoffroy Gillant Integrates the Cord into the Design By M | Published 2013-05-29 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/geoffroy-gillant References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/design/geoffroy-gillant-2084-wall-lamp/) & [geoffroygillant](http://www.geoffroygillant.com/) While many lamps seek to mask or hide the electrical cord, designer and innovator Geoffroy Gillant chose to make the electrical cord the main feature of his latest 2084 wall lamp. The design of Geoffroy Gillant's 2084 lamp is completely customizable. Once the black base of the 2084 lamp is mounted, the consumer is free to arrange the dangling electrical cords as they please. The electrical cords then attach to two neon light tubes, which too can be arranged and mounted in a numerous number of positions. The creative flexibility of the 2084 lamp augments this light fixture from a standard everyday lamp to a beautifully illuminating work of art that can be displayed anywhere in the home.
