Testing recently took place at the Centre d'Etudes et d'Essais pour Modeles Autonomes (CEEMA) in September. The electric delivery drones used in the GeoDrone project are capable of autonomously transporting parcels with dimensions up to 40 x 30 x 20 cm and 9 pounds in weight within a 20 km radius. The project is focusing on using the drones to access isolated areas such as mountains, islands and isolated rural areas.
