Geometry geeks and number nerds will surely fall in love with this mathematical design. I know I love it. The table is constructed of polished nickel, making it shiny too. It really does look like a [computer mock-up](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-table-designs), or that design that your computer makes when it’s fallen asleep. Perhaps this is the design that appears in the heads of architects when they fall asleep. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Geometric Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore using mathematical designs and geometric shapes in various furniture pieces for a modern and unique aesthetic. - **Mathematical Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop home decor items that appeal to geometry enthusiasts and number lovers by incorporating mathematical principles in their design. - **Polished Nickel Material:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilize polished nickel as a material choice in furniture manufacturing to create sleek and reflective pieces with a futuristic appeal. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore incorporating mathematical designs and geometric shapes into furniture design to cater to the growing demand for modern and unique home decor. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a range of home decor products that embrace mathematical concepts and geometric patterns to target a niche market of geometry and number enthusiasts. - **Metal Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the use of polished nickel as a material in manufacturing various products beyond furniture, such as decorative items, lighting fixtures, or kitchenware, to offer a sleek, futuristic aesthetic. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Cutout Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designated-table.md) - [Puzzling Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linked-side-table.md) - [Dynamic Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designated-side-table.md) - [Geometric Glass Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soda-iced-table.md) - [Geometric Table Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solis-collection.md) - [Intersecting Two-Part Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shaolin-side-table.md) - [Impactful Industrial Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/to-steel-side-table.md) - [Perplexingly Angular Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tadashi-side-table.md) - [Lunar-Inspired Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moon-side-table.md)
