One Good Crush provides a more [inclusive dating platform](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/famm-connect) by allowing users to choose from five different gender options. The new app operates similar to [Tinder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tinder-features) in that it is location-based and connected via [Facebook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/facebook-dating-1). One Good Crush also uses a Tinder-style matching platform, where users must swipe right to indicate interest in another user's profile. However, One Good Crush is radically different than Tinder in that users have the option to choose from five gender identity options. These gender options include man, woman, queer, transgender man or transgender woman. The inclusive dating app launched only three months ago, but it already has 100,000 daters using the service. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Gender-inclusive Dating:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a dating app that goes beyond binary gender categories and allows users to choose from a wide range of gender identity options. - **Inclusivity in Online Dating:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a dating platform that promotes inclusivity by accommodating all gender expressions and sexual orientations, providing a safe and welcoming space for diverse individuals. - **Expanding Gender Options in Dating Apps:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Enhance existing dating apps by introducing more comprehensive options for users to express their gender identities, catering to the diverse needs and preferences of individuals. ### Where This Applies - **Online Dating:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: revolutionize the online dating industry by developing platforms that embrace inclusivity and cater to the diverse gender expressions and sexual orientations of individuals. - **LGBTQ+ Services:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create and improve services specifically tailored to the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring inclusivity and providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals looking for relationships. - **Social Networking:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Transform social networking platforms by integrating comprehensive gender options, allowing users to express their identities more authentically and connect with like-minded individuals. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Inclusive Gen Z Dating Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/feels-app.md) - [Inclusive Tinder Features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tinder-features.md) - [Global Dating Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trycatch-global-dating.md) - [Neurodivergent-Friendly Dating Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mattr.md) - [Inclusive Dating App Guides](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lgbtqia-dating.md) - [Accessible Online Dating apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-online-dating.md) - [IRL Dating Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blush-app.md) - [Queer Dating Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motto.md) - [Queer Men Dating App](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/men-dating-app.md)
