Not one I would indulge in. It’s called the “gas chamber” which is awful enough but you actually SNORT your [vodka shot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocktail-jellies) through a straw. Why? It gets into your blood stream quicker which also makes it very dangerous. And now it will make its way out of the underground and become ridiculously trendy because none other than Amy Winehouse was caught doing it. Apparently, it’s also a favorite of Prince Harry. For us mere mortals, [vodka is expensive enough](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jo-vodka), so why not just drink it? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Snorting-alcohol:** With the rise of snorting alcohol as a trend, opportunities for safer alternatives such as alcohol vaporizers and inhalers emerge. - **Quick-intoxication:** An opportunity for innovative products such as time-release alcohol drinks that allow for controlled and sustained levels of intoxication, could be born out of the desire for quicker absorption into the bloodstream. - **Unsafe-drinking-practices:** The trend of snorting vodka shots highlights the importance of promoting safe drinking practices and poses an opportunity for education and awareness campaigns. ### Where This Applies - **Beverage:** The beverage industry can develop innovative products and alternative consumption methods in response to the hazardous trend of snorting alcohol to quickly feel the effects. - **Healthcare:** Healthcare providers have an opportunity to educate consumers on the dangers of snorting alcohol and promote safe drinking practices to prevent accidents and health problems. - **Technology:** The technology industry can explore the development of new products and devices that enable safer and more responsible ways of consuming alcohol. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Spoon-Served Spherified Shooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highwire-lounge.md) - [Socialite-Approved Canned Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canned-vodka-soda.md) - [Pouch-Packaged Vodka Shots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slim-shooters.md) - [Edible Cocktail Shots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocktail-shots1.md) - [Social Media-Inspired Vodka Drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vk-squashka.md) - [Palette-Invigorating Shots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elliotts-on-congress.md) - [Gin Shooter Spirits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wattshot.md) - [High-Quality Bacon-Flavored Vodkas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chilli-bacon-vodka.md) - [Romantic Vodka Whipped Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whipshots-strawberry.md)
