# Sculptural Gardening Kits VERD&AGUA Provides Tools to Contain and Care for Succulents By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2015-07-28 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardening-kits References: [packagingoftheworld](http://www.packagingoftheworld.com/2015/07/verd.html) & [behance.net](https://www.behance.net/postitfilipaferreira) Tending to a garden is a hobby that's often viewed as messy, but the VERD&ÁGUA gardening kits clean this misconception up nicely. The kits marry design and plant care in the form of a compact set that supplies everything needed to care for five succulents. These particular plants are ideal for inclusion in a kit, mostly because they are known as plants that are easy to maintain and shape. One of the most intruguing parts of the design are the [five sculptural porcelain pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter), which can be set upright or hung over the edge of a surface. In order to emphasize a strong connection to the earth, the cardboard packaging system is made from 100 percent recycled materials that can be recycled once again when it is no longer needed. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 92% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Sustainable Gardening Kits:** Designing environmentally-friendly gardening kits with recyclable materials for eco-conscious consumers. - **Multipurpose Gardening Design:** Creating a compact set of tools that caters to plant care, sculptural art and space-saving design for urban gardeners - **Easy-to-maintain Succulent Kits:** Developing a range of DIY gardening kits that include succulents, the perfect low-maintenance plant that adds a touch of greenery to indoor spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Home and Garden:** Innovating in the gardening industry by offering stylish and easy-to-use gardening kits to consumers for indoor and outdoor spaces. - **Eco-friendly Packaging:** Providing eco-friendly packaging abd utilizing recycled materials to reduce the carbon footprint of the gardening industry. - **Artful Home Decor:** Developing small-scale, sculptural planters that function as both gardening vessels and decorative accents for interior design purposes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Alphabet DIY Gardening Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/succulent-letter-diy-kit.md) - [Natural Material Gardening Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-collection.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Plant Care Tool Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prick-ldn.md) - [Plant Care Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-parent-tool-kit.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegetment-vegetable-cultivator.md) - [Smart Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tendril-1.md) - [Easy Repotting Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/essential-plant-repotting-set.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md)
