The [Garden House](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tane-garden-house) is completely surrounded in [wooden trellis](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-corjeum) which creates a triangular enclosure. The Garden House design by Tham & Videgård Hansson has a [green roof deck](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shibanee-kamal) and a yard within the lattice-covered area. The many windows and glass-enclosed areas create an open feeling despite the caged lattice. While the design looks a bit bare at the moment, if vines fill in the lattice this will be the perfect garden home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Latticed Architecture:** The design trend towards latticed architecture is an opportunity for construction and architectural companies to incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable materials in their designs. - **Green Homes:** The increasing desire for eco-friendly homes like Tham & Videgard Hansson's Garden House presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for the real estate industry to create more sustainable living options for consumers. - **Biophilic Design:** The Garden House's incorporation of plants and nature into its design represents a growing trend towards biophilic design, offering opportunities for architects and designers to incorporate natural elements into their projects. ### Who This Affects Most - **Construction:** The trend towards latticed architecture reveals an opportunity for construction companies to use eco-friendly and sustainable materials such as wood and plants in their designs. - **Real Estate:** The desire for eco-friendly homes like the Garden House presents an opportunity for the real estate industry to create more sustainable living options for consumers. - **Architecture and Design:** The trend towards biophilic design presents an opportunity for architects and designers to incorporate natural elements into their projects, creating spaces that promote wellbeing and sustainability. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Living Landscape Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hedge-and-arbour-house.md) - [Window-Accented Garden Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verdant-house.md) - [Planted Balcony Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-greens.md) - [Greenhouse-Topped Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-house-1.md) - [Memory-Reminiscent Idyllic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tane-garden-house.md) - [Ergonomic Latticed Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardiners-sofa.md) - [Green Garden-Surrounding Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hillside-house-1.md) - [Plant-Covered Concrete Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-kd45.md) - [Landscape-Integrated Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-by-the-grove.md)
