Now, the website ShittyWaterColour.com has turned the popular medieval TV characters into sloths in its own way. Using water color paints, the artist depicted several characters from the show's noble houses, including the [House of Stark](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diff-eyewear), the [House of Lannister](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cider-and-wine) and the [House of Arryn](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dragon-inspired-timepieces). There have been many Game of Thrones parodies, novelty products, adaptations and illustrations that have arisen since the HBO show's debut a few years ago. However, the sloth take on things is the most unique by far. Sloths are known to be one of the most lazy and dopey animals and that's what makes these paintings so comical; the animals are a far cry from Game of Thrones' active characters. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Game of Thrones Sloth Illustrations:** Creating watercolor paintings of Game of Thrones characters as sloths presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for artists and illustrators to explore new and unconventional ways of representing popular media. - **Parodies and Adaptations:** The rise of parodies and adaptations related to Game of Thrones opens up disruptive innovation opportunities for creative entrepreneurs to reimagine and reinterpret popular content in unique and engaging ways. - **Novelty Products:** The popularity of Game of Thrones-themed novelty products, such as sloth illustrations, offers a disruptive innovation opportunity for businesses to create and market unique merchandise that caters to fan interests. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Illustration:** The art and illustration industry can seize the disruptive innovation opportunity presented by the trend of creating Game of Thrones sloth illustrations, by offering new and distinctive visual representations to capture audience attention. - **Entertainment and Media:** The entertainment and media industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by embracing the trend of parodies and adaptations related to Game of Thrones, capitalizing on fan engagement and expanding content offerings. - **Merchandise and Retail:** The merchandise and retail industry can leverage the popularity of Game of Thrones-themed novelty products, like sloth illustrations, to drive sales and attract customers with unique and collectible items. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fantasy-Inspired Soap Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dr-squatch-1.md) - [Fantasy Prequel Wines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-the-dragon-fire-blood-cabernet-shiraz.md) - [Dragon-Themed Alcohol Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cider-and-wine.md) - [Fantasy-Inspired Hiking Shoes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/merrell-house-of-dragon.md) - [Thematic Dragon-Inspired Timepieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dragon-inspired-timepieces.md) - [TV Series Hot Sauces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-and-black-hot-sauces.md) - [Fantasy-Series Inspired Eyewear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diff-eyewear.md) - [Fantasy Footwear Collaborations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/merrell-2.md) - [Fantastical Edition Phones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/15-pro-game-of-thrones.md)
