The galactic sushi set is called the 'Enterprise Sushi Set' and it combines the [classic art of sushi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noble-fresh-cart) with the science-fiction world of Star Trek. The set is fully equipped with a wooden placement board that is designed to act as a tray to hold sushi. A small handheld spaceship is then placed at one end of the dish with a pair of chopsticks that look like lasers. The chopsticks are made of BPA-free plastic and can easily be removed for usage. The stainless steel spaceship doubles as a playful toy and a [soy sauce tray](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sticksnsushi-sauces). When the top of the Enterprise spaceship is removed, it displays a tiny bowl-like dish that can be rotated to the perfect dipping angle. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.3/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Galactic Sushi Sets:** The rise of themed utensils allows for unique dining experiences that merge food and popular culture. - **Science-fiction Fusion:** Combining elements of sci-fi and culinary arts opens up opportunities for creative, immersive dining experiences. - **Playful Serving Solutions:** Innovative and interactive servingware adds an element of fun and entertainment to dining. ### Who This Affects Most - **Food & Beverage:** Restaurants can attract customers with themed dining experiences and unique utensil designs. - **Entertainment:** Themed utensils can be used at conventions, pop-up events, and themed parties for sci-fi enthusiasts and fans. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can offer unique dining options and experiences with themed utensils to attract guests. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Space Tourism-Inspired Restaurants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ichi-station.md) - [Sushi Boat Blocked Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funamori-platter-set.md) - [Sci-Fi Film Franchise Drinkware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/picard-tea-cup-set.md) - [Aesthetically Functional Chopsticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/restless-chopsticks-tableware.md) - [Culture-Honoring Spiralled Chopsticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rassen-chopstick.md) - [Sci-Fi Media Playsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buildabridge-mini-bridge.md) - [Millennium Falcon Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-tray.md) - [Sci Fi-Inspired Desk Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightsaber-lego.md) - [Saltiness-Enhancing Electric Chopsticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-chopsticks.md)
