Gabriella Barouch was inspired by the book 'A Book of Nonsense' by Edward Lear, so much so that she decided to dedicate her graduation project to creating [illustrations based on the book's story](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/richard-scarry). Gabriella Barouch is an illustrator with an undeniably vivacious imagination and undeniable abundance of talent. Her creative mind was put to use in creating these unusual depictions of birds, cats, bears and [make-believe creatures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zsiga-care-bears), which will have your mind running wild the next time you pick up an interesting book. **Implications** - Creating unusual imagery that incorporates make-believe characters continues to be favored as a deviation from the reality-heavy imagery of the past. Consumers and artists alike are quickly growing tired of the strong focus the media has placed upon reality and businesses should take note of this when creating product packaging. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cheekily Creative Bookmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illustrated-bookmarks.md) - [Children's Story-Inspired Libraries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/western-academy.md) - [Creature-Inspired Home Good Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-jeffreys-loverboy.md) - [Celebratory Odd Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ridiculous-design.md) - [Cartoonish NFT Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/i-like-you-youre-weird.md) - [Literature-Inspired Packaging Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/good-to-read.md) - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Distinctive Dragon-Themed Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/distinctive-dragonthemed-books-dragonborn-features-illustrative-end-pages-a.md) - [Unique Artistic Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amusebouche.md)
