FXFOWLE Architects has outdone itself with the 35XV Residences. A [luxury development](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/five-park-miami-beach) that is split into two distinct parts, the building will be used not only as a condo, but also as a highschool. Specifically, the neighboring Xavier High School will extend onto this premises for additional space. Those are some lucky students.

Located in New York City, FXFOWLE Architects focused on giving the building a unique [cantilevered silhouette](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/levitae-house). This is seen only in the top half, which is predominantly made out of [glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exp-building). The bottom half is constructed out of granite and rises six stories above street level.

FXFOWLE Architects' mixed-use 35XV Residences is set to be completed by 2015, bringing another landmark to the Big Apple.
