# Infusion-Administering Implements The Fusioon Spoon is the Optimal Tea-Drinking Utensil By Amelia Roblin | Published 2011-09-20 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fusioon-spoon References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2011/09/12/fusioon-and-the-tea-bag-story/) & [amordemadre](http://amordemadre.com/?s=objetos&lang=es) A very minor but notable pair of difficulties may arise while sipping your [afternoon tea](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/veryvery-good-tea), and the Fusioon Spoon strives quite simply to remedy them. Firstly, you'll be interested in obtaining even steeping within your mug, and secondly, a swift process of removing your [teabag](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-tea-infuser) drip-free would be ideal. The solution is this charming [wooden scooper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evolving-spoon) with a slot in the end and notches in the middle. The adjustments to the cutlery's usual look enable the string of your tea bag to be wound around and either fixed or controlled so that you can dip the pouch deeper or draw it slowly from your teacup. Once your hot beverage reveals your preferred tint and taste, use Ernest Perera's Fusioon Spoon to scoop the wet sachet into the sink. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Smart Tea Mugs:** Opportunity for innovating with technology-enabled mugs that can optimize steeping time and temperature for personalized tea-drinking experiences - **Eco-friendly Tea Utensils:** Opportunity for using sustainable materials to design tea-drinking utensils that are bio-degradable and minimize environmental harm - **Customized Tea Blends:** Opportunity for offering personalized tea blends curated to match individual preferences and taste palettes ### Where This Applies - **Kitchenware:** Design innovative tea-drinking utensils that use new materials and forms to enhance the tea experience, or that leverage technology to regulate temperature and steeping time - **E-commerce:** Opportunity for online tea retailers to offer custom tea blends and curated blends based on taste preferences and health requirements - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunity for designing smart tea mugs that connect to IoT devices and can optimize tea steeping time and temperature for individualized tea-drinking preferences ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Effortless Tea Brewing Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cuptone-teacup.md) - [Magnetic Three-in-One Tea Brewers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ohteavor.md) - [Automated Extraction Teapots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reedesigned-teapot.md) - [Utensil Holding Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1handmug.md) - [Next-Gen Tea Brewers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airomini.md) - [Luxury Full-Leaf Tea Brewers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/affinitea.md) - [Luxe Tea-Brewing Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/affinitea-brewing-system.md) - [Grim Reaper Tea Infusers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grim-reaper.md) - [Smart Tea Infusers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-tea-infuser.md)
