Frusion by Interbrands is a new soda on the market that is geared towards adults only. Even though this drink may not have any alcohol, the company is looking to fill a gap in the market for an older crowd that often dismisses [soda drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tango-zerod) as childish and unhealthy. The company recognizes that there are certain instances where adults don't want to have an alcoholic beverage, but they also don't want to stand out while holding a [can of pop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/functional-beverage-olipop). Many of these people merely cave under peer pressure.

Via the Interbrands website, the designer behind the Frusion sodas explains why he created Frusion: "[We] saw an unmet need for a sophisticated soft drink with a distinctly adult image. We were briefed to develop a brand that would allow consumers to fit into a crowd drinking alcohol and feel confident and empowered." The geometric and puzzle patterns on the bottle give it a sophisticated aesthetic that fits well with an older market.
