Superstore [IKEA's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-family-loyalty-program) exclusive furniture credit card has a twofold purpose — one of increasing savings for the consumer and another of ensuring customer loyalty to the brand. The IKEA [Visa](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fuel-credit-card) can be used to purchase groceries, food, utilities and furniture. Customers receive $25 off on the first purchase with the card and can subsequently earn points toward future IKEA purchases. For example, "an accumulated spending of US$500 on third-party merchants will earn you US$25 in IKEA rewards."

The furniture credit card has no annual fees and holders enjoy a 5% cashback on IKEA purchases, 3% on food and utilities and 1% on all other purchases. In addition, upon signing up for the furniture credit card, members are automatically enrolled in the [IKEA FAMILY loyalty program](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-rewards-program).
