I’m kind of sad I can only find one photo without further details of this exceptional design. Between all the female curves (or un-curves) in fashion and [furniture design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/don-heston-studio), this gives me a sort of serene peace of mind and feel of balance. Men will never have to sit on their knuckles again. Love it! According to my source, [Gadget Garden](http://www.gadgetgarden.nl/2007/09/stoel-voor-mannen.php) it is yet a prototype. Production should start now! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Naughty](https://www.trendhunter.com/naughty) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Wooden Furniture Innovations:** There is an opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating unique and functional wooden furniture designs that cater to specific needs, such as providing a comfortable resting place for men's belongings. - **Gender-specific Design:** Designers can explore the concept of gender-specific design, creating products that cater to the specific needs and preferences of different genders, such as this wooden stool designed for men's comfort. - **Sculptural Furniture Design:** The trend of incorporating sculptural elements into furniture design opens up opportunities to create visually striking and functional pieces, like this stool carved entirely out of wood. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore revolutionary concepts and materials to create unique and personalized furniture pieces, such as this wooden stool designed for men's comfort. - **Gender-specific Products:** Industries that cater to gender-specific needs can innovate by creating products that address unique needs, preferences, and comfort, just like this wooden stool targeting men's comfort. - **Artisanal Woodworking:** In the woodworking industry, there is an opportunity to showcase craftsmanship by creating sculptural furniture designs that blend functionality with artistic appeal, such as this intricately carved wooden stool. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Thoughtful Reclaimed Material Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noah-folding-stool.md) - [Chess-Inspired Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rook-stool.md) - [Visibly Undulating Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concave-stool.md) - [Highly Functional Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loki-stool.md) - [Bubble-Inspired Bulbous Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubble-stool.md) - [Functional Decorative Rocking Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rool-stool.md) - [Cultural Heritage-Inspired Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stool-design1.md) - [Minimal Wooden Webbed Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knot-stool.md) - [Historically Influenced Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nick-beens.md)
