Their series, ‘Gourmet Mouse Traps,’ depicts delicious, [mouthwatering cuisines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/looks-delicious) amongst tiny mousetraps. As a last supper, these mice get to enjoy something a little more satisfying than a piece of cheese. Luciano got the inspiration after attending a week-long [advertising campaign about cheese](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamies-treats). He says the shoot left him in a “cheesy state of mind.” Some of the cuisines featured include strawberry cheesecake, nachos, onion soup and of course a grilled cheese sandwich. Ficca used a tweezer to set up these enticing food traps. This series showcases how clever people can get with mouse traps. Although the series is intended to be a bit extreme, it also depicts how people are opting for more humane ways of attracting rodents. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Humane Rodent Traps:** Creating innovative and enticing traps for rodents that offer a more humane approach to pest control. - **Culinary Mouse Traps:** Exploring the intersection of gourmet cuisine and rodent control by creating visually appealing traps that resemble delicious food. - **Creative Pest Control:** Pushing the boundaries of traditional pest control methods by infusing creativity and humor into the design of mouse traps. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Pest Control Industry:** Opportunity to innovate and develop more humane and visually appealing pest control solutions for rodents. - **Food Industry:** Potential for collaboration between the food industry and pest control industry to create gourmet-inspired rodent traps. - **Design Industry:** Creating unique and visually attractive mouse traps that effectively capture rodents while adding an element of creativity and design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Influencer-Inspired Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tomcat.md) - [Feline-Inspired Culinary Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/purina-fancy-feast.md) - [Feline-Themed Restaurants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gatto-bianco.md) - [Cultivated Mouse Cat Foods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biocraft-pet-nutrition.md) - [Gritty Rodent-Inspired Boots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ratboot.md) - [Realistic Food Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pantlers-rations.md) - [Gourmet Macaroni Meals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mac-cheese-frozen-ready-meals.md) - [Scratch-Off Computer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scratchoff-mouse.md) - [Panel-Made Mouse Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beetle-acoustic-panels.md)
