Coffee-Mate recently announced that it will debut two drool-worthy new creamer flavors in January of 2020: Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Funfetti. Both of the new flavors are sweet, but also deliver a touch of nostalgia for popular childhood dishes. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch Creamer combines flavors of cinnamon spice, brown sugar, and hints of toasted cereal to deliver a creamer that tastes just like the cereal milk leftover in your bowl. On the other hand, the new Funfett Creamer tastes more like a slice of [birthday cake in a cup](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-debbie-1), with hints of vanilla, cake batter, and sweet frosting. As the press release puts it: "“all that’s missing are the birthday candles and sprinkles.” Image Credit: *Coffee-Mate.* ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Nostalgic Creamer Flavors:** The popularity of Coffee-Mate's Funfetti Creamer suggests a trend towards nostalgic flavors that bring back childhood memories, offering opportunities for other food and beverage companies to tap into consumers' sense of nostalgia. - **Creative Coffee Enhancements:** The introduction of Funfetti Creamer by Coffee-Mate showcases a trend of innovative and unique coffee enhancements, prompting opportunities for companies to develop creative flavors and combinations to enhance the coffee drinking experience. - **Indulgent Beverage Experiences:** The launch of Funfetti Creamer by Coffee-Mate highlights a trend of consumers seeking indulgent beverage experiences, opening up opportunities for businesses in the food and beverage industry to create more luxurious and indulgent products. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Food and Beverage:** The success of Coffee-Mate's Funfetti Creamer indicates an opportunity for the food and beverage industry to create and market nostalgic flavors, enticing customers with products that evoke childhood memories. - **Coffee and Coffee Accessories:** The introduction of creative creamer flavors like Funfetti by Coffee-Mate suggests an opportunity for the coffee and coffee accessories industry to develop and promote unique enhancements that cater to consumers' desire for original and exciting coffee options. - **Dairy and Non-dairy Alternatives:** The launch of Funfetti Creamer by Coffee-Mate presents an opportunity for the dairy and non-dairy alternatives industry to create and market indulgent creamer options, appealing to consumers who are looking for innovative ways to enhance their beverages. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Candy Bar-Flavored Coffee Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffee-mate-creamers.md) - [Cookie-Flavored Coffee Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brown-butter-chocolate-chip-cookie-flavored-creamer.md) - [Ice Cream-Flavored Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drumstick-creamer.md) - [Cake-Flavored Alt Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birthday-cake-almond-creamer.md) - [Cinnamon Coffee Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natural-bliss-cinnamon-swirl-latte-flavored-creamer.md) - [Pink Coffee Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pink-coffee-creamer.md) - [Cereal-Inspired Coffee Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffee-mate-golden-grahams-creamer.md) - [Celebratory Confection Coffee Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/confetti-birthday-cake-creamer.md) - [Breakfast Bread Roll-Inspired Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cream-cheese-flavored-creamer.md)
