The appliances are part of three different lines from Bella Housewares, including Diamonds, [Dots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-heater) and [Linea](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porro-linea), which reference the type of patterning you can expect to find on the sides of the gadgets. The colorful toasters, coffee makers, blenders and slow cookers come in extremely vibrant versions of green, pink, blue and purple. The coffee maker in particular really commits to color, since both the body and parts of the coffee pot itself are made to match. In addition to these brights, Bella Housewares offers a few safer options for more conservative homeowners, including gray, white and black. The stunning and stylish appliance collections recently made their debut at the 2014 International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 69% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Colorful Kitchen Appliances:** Opportunity to disrupt the kitchen appliance market by offering appliances with vibrant colors and playful designs. - **Patterned Kitchen Appliances:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in the kitchen appliance industry by introducing appliances with unique and eye-catching patterns. - **Textured Kitchen Appliances:** Innovation opportunity to disrupt the market by creating kitchen appliances with textured designs, providing a tactile and visually appealing experience. ### Where This Applies - **Home Appliance:** Potential for disruptive innovation in the home appliance industry by introducing appliances with bold colors, patterns, and textures. - **Kitchenware:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the kitchenware industry by offering appliances that combine practical functionality with colorful and patterned designs. - **Home Decor:** Innovation opportunity in the home decor industry by incorporating colorful and uniquely patterned kitchen appliances as part of interior design elements. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Earth-Toned Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchenaid-heart-hand-with-magnolia.md) - [Floral Spring-Inspired Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beautiful-by-drew-barrymore-products.md) - [Brightly Colored Luxe Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fab28.md) - [Batman-Themed Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batman-small-kitchen-appliance-design.md) - [Collaboration Brass-Hued Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/breville-brass-collection.md) - [Adorably Patterned Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laura-ashley-licensing-deal.md) - [Elevated Kitchen Appliance Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smeg-1.md) - [Modern Aesthetic Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hay-sowden-toaster.md) - [Rustic Small Appliance Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-appliance-collection.md)
