# Full-Face Tattoos Unusual, In-Your-Face Tattoo Designs That Cover Daring Heads By Cowbag | Published 2009-08-11 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/full-face-tattoos References: [tribes.tribe.net](http://tribes.tribe.net/extrmtattooing/photos) This is a collection of a most extreme form of [tattooing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mark-of-life) which involves total face and neck designs. While I have touched on this in a previous article, it was not on such a hardcore level. These people clearly feel their tattoos MUST be seen. The gimp mask example blows my mind. As for the gallery, I really love the high quality of [professional artistic shots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inkstory) people are having taken of their tattoos these days. The right photographer can make any design look stunning and certainly acts as food for thought as to what is considered beautiful. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Full-face Tattooing:** Opportunity to explore tattoo inking technologies and effects for larger surface areas of the body. - **Extreme Body Modification:** Investigate new and unusual ways of modifying the human body beyond traditional tattooing. - **Professional Tattoo Photography:** Opportunity to explore using photography to showcase tattoo art as a creative medium. ### Where This Applies - **Tattoo Industry:** Offering more extensive and advanced tattoo services to consumers who want to go beyond traditional tattooing. - **Body Modification Industry:** Exploring new forms of body modification beyond tattoos including implants, scarification, and piercings. - **Photography Industry:** Partnering with tattoo artists and studios to offer professional tattoo photography services. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tattoo-Inspired Joint Blemish Patches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tattoo-compact.md) - [Unusual Food Tattoo Challenges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omaha-steak.md) - [Online Tattoo Art Marketplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blackdot.md) - [Tattoo-Covered Beer Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/86-tattoo-limited-edition.md) - [Tattoo-Style Pimple Patches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zitsticka-x-jonboy.md) - [Generative Art Tattoo Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blackdot-1.md) - [Custom Tattoo Designers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-tattoo-generator2.md) - [Custom Tattoo Design Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-tattoo-generator1.md) - [Glow-in-the-Dark Temporary Tattoos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-glowing-garden-tattoo-sheet.md)
