Fruit may become a whole lot safer to eat if Scott Amron's FruitWash Labels ever go from concept to reality. Amron designed the FruitWash Label as a way of making fruit easier to clean. The label is actually made from an [organic fruit soap](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edible-soap) that dissolves when wet.

The FruitWash Labels would make fruit safer to eat by making it easier and cheaper to clean. The soap is designed to lift more than [wax off fruit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superfresh-growers-1); it also cleans off microscopic bits of dirt and [pesticide residue](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cadre-bio-fresher). A design such as this would be a great way for big fruit companies to tout their commitment to health and eco-friendliness without having to expand their operations to include more organic farming.
