Whether it is the size of each fruit or their vibrant colors, there is something slightly off about this harvest. Of course, both size and color should be a dead giveaway that these fruits are far from real despite their authentic appearance. Designed by artist Lisa Pappon for [Bull & Stein](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/membersonly-cocktail-lounge), the Fruits Ceramique Collection offers [stunning sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/afterglow-1) for both inside and outside the house. As though inspired by pop art, the pieces are at once familiar and strange. Available in a range of colors such as electric pinks, sky blues and spring greens, they also come in various finishes including glossy, matte and metallic. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Oversized Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating oversized home decor pieces that challenge traditional perceptions of size and scale. - **Genetically Modified Aesthetics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring the intersection of art and science by incorporating genetically modified aesthetics in home decor designs. - **Authentic-looking Artificial Fruit:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing realistic artificial fruit sculptures that can fool the senses and enhance home decor aesthetics. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilizing oversized, genetically modified and authentic-looking artificial fruit sculptures to create unique and visually striking home decor products. - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring how the incorporation of oversized, genetically modified and authentic-looking fruit sculptures can challenge artistic boundaries and generate new creative expressions. - **Genetic Engineering:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Leveraging the aesthetic appeal of genetically modified fruit sculptures to spark conversations about ethics, biotechnology, and the future of design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Oversized Colorful Dynamic Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tfm.md) - [Fruit-Inspired Design Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-grounds.md) - [Inflated-Illusion Ceramic Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-up.md) - [Big-Headed Sculpture Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpture-pots.md) - [Display-Centric Dynamic Fruit Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circuit.md) - [Geometrical Head-Shaped Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vondom-adan-collection.md) - [Vibrantly Designed Playful Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hem.md) - [Sculpturally Provocative Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant-sculptural-vase.md) - [Dynamic Colored Glass Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tip-top-glass.md)
