Frooze Balls were first dreamed up after the brand's founder, Jeremy Dixon, attended a ten-day health retreat. Dixon then created his own plant-powered snacks made from whole foods and protein-rich ingredients. Trader Joe's new Frooze Balls Caramel Choc Peanut Butter takes this concept and adds some indulgent ingredients. The new bite-sized balls consist of a chewy outer shell made from a combination of dates, peanuts, and dried coconut, as well as a rich center made up of smooth peanut butter that’s been flavored with a bit of cocoa powder. The result is a delicious chocolate peanut butter bite that's packed with seven and a half grams of protein per serving.
