Designed to [float in your pool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floatis) and hang onto the side, the device works to provide a way to frogs to reach dry land and easily hop out when they are done going for a dip. This prevents them from [contaminating pool water](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarpowered-pool-monitoring) with bacteria and stopping them from drowning when they are unable to hop out to dry land. The 'Frog Log' incorporates a weight to keep itself in place and can be left in the pool at all hours to help offer refuge for [stranded frogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-plan-vi-call-duck). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Amphibian Rescue Devices:** Opportunities for companies to design and create devices to rescue amphibians who accidentally fall into pools. - **Eco-friendly Pool Accessories:** Opportunities for eco-friendly pool accessory companies to create devices that support and protect the natural environment. - **Animal Rescue Innovation:** Opportunities for companies to create innovative and sustainable solutions to protect animals from human-created hazards. ### Where This Applies - **Swimming Pool and Spa Industry:** The swimming pool and spa industry can create and market products to protect animals from drowning and contamination. - **Wildlife Conservation Industry:** Companies in the wildlife conservation industry can design and implement innovative solutions that help protect animals in urban settings. - **Environmental Technology Industry:** Opportunities for the environmental technology industry to create sustainable solutions that protect animals and the environment from human-created hazards. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Accessible Floating Public Pools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floating-public-pool.md) - [Creature-Themed Amphibian Footwear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/esenes-worldwide-frog-clogs.md) - [Elevated Pool Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ledge-partypad.md) - [Frog Inspired Clogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frog-clog.md) - [Revolutionary Swimming Flotation Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swimming-flotation-device.md) - [Small Amphibious Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-frog.md) - [Lotus-Inspired Floating Water Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floatis.md) - [Connected Pool Safety Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lifebuoy-bcone.md) - [In-House Fire Prevention Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-fighter.md)
