The Frieling JOY Kitchen Scale is definitely one of those products. The Frieling JOY Kitchen Scale is essentially a [measuring tool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-coffee-dosing-cup) that also doubles as a stereo. The dock fits all the current [iPhones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-upright) and iPods therefore you can listen to music and charge your device all at once. Behind it is the scale made from safety glass that displays the weight of the produce in ounces and grams only. If you're worried about dirtying the gadget, there's a protective cover that will protect it from all sorts of mess. A scale/stereo hybrid is probably a strange combination, but it's not strange to see that there's a market for it. Besides, it's adding convenience to the cook of the house. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Stereo Kitchenware Hybrids:** Combining kitchen tools with technology to create unique and multi-functional gadgets. - **Connected Kitchen Devices:** Integrating technology into everyday kitchen appliances to streamline cooking and add convenience. - **Smart Scale Applications:** Innovative uses for scales in the kitchen, such as incorporating music and other features. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Creating and marketing electronic devices that incorporate multiple functionalities to appeal to diverse consumer needs. - **Kitchenware and Cookware:** Integrating technology into everyday kitchen appliances to make cooking more efficient and entertaining. - **Health and Fitness:** Developing new applications for scales and other tools to help users track and monitor their food intake more accurately. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Intuitive Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-hoto.md) - [Battery-Free Kitchen Scales](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caso-kitchen-ecostyle.md) - [Two-Part Kitchen Scales](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lari-weighing-scale.md) - [Adaptable Kitchen Speaker Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chord-kitchen-speaker.md) - [Modular Multifunctional Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pronto-and-alto.md) - [Precision Coffee Measurement Scales](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brewista-smart-scale-ii.md) - [Elegant Countertop Coffee Scales](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fellow-tally-pro-studio-edition.md) - [Tech-Infused Analog Radios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-aesthetics-and-modern-technology.md) - [One-Person Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-cooking-appliance.md)
