# Crab Grass Work Lights The Fresh LED Desk Lamp is a Natural and Playful Illuminator By Michael Hines | Published 2012-01-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fresh-led-desk-lamp References: [dezeen](http://www.dezeen.com/2012/01/03/fresh-by-victor-vetterlein/) & [victorvetterlein](http://victorvetterlein.com/) The Fresh LED desk lamp brings lively outdoor elements into the realm of home decor. Fresh was designed by Victor Vetterlein and is meant to resemble a patch of grass weighed down by drops of water. Like real blades of grass with water on them, the Fresh LED desk lamp succumbs to the weight of the water and droops forward. This is especially functional as the flexibility of the lamp allows you to angle its small LED light bulbs closer to your work if needed. Nature-inspired design is becoming more and more common as people begin to work wholly indoors. Most nature design is pretty, but isn't very fun to play with; Vetterlein's Fresh LED desk lamp literally is a breath of fresh air in the ever-growing and semi-boring world of [natural design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-4). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 19% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Nature-inspired Design:** Opportunities for creative design solutions that incorporate natural elements in products for indoor spaces. - **Flexibility in Lighting Design:** Incorporating adjustable elements in lighting products for user's convenience and customization. - **Playful Home Decor:** Integrating whimsical elements in home decor products to make them more engaging and enjoyable. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Incorporating nature-inspired design trends and flexible lighting design in indoor decor products. - **Lighting Design:** Developing products that focus on customization and flexibility in lighting design. - **Home Decor:** Innovating in the home decor industry by combining function and fun to create more engaging and enjoyable products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Zen Workstation Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bonsai-desk-lamp.md) - [Dynamically Customizable Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illum-desk-light.md) - [Fashionable Flicker-Free Desk Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shlight-led-desk-lamp.md) - [Plant-Based Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantbased-lamp.md) - [Natural Light Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adjustable-led-desk-lamp.md) - [Sunlight Spectrum Desk Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ocean-sun-plant-light.md) - [Desk Organizer Lamp Hybrids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engrid-desk-lamp.md) - [Space-Saving Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacesaving-desk-lamp.md) - [Bold Playful Lighting Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp.md)
