# All-in-One Sitters Trusted House Sitters Provides People to Look After Your Pet and Place By Jimmy B Good | Published 2013-02-03 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/free-pet-sitter References: [vetstreet](http://www.vetstreet.com/our-pet-experts/the-things-we-do-for-love-we-house-sit-and-pet-sit-for-free) & [trustedhousesitters](http://www.trustedhousesitters.com/) When vacation time comes, visit TrustedHousesitters.com to have someone look after both your pet and place. Most pet owners shiver at the very idea of leaving their pets locked up in a kennel for a long amount of time, as it goes against every moral fiber in their bodies. For this reason, many pet owners choose not to go on holidays every year. TrustedHousesitters.com is a website which connects home and pet owners with their database of trustworthy and reliable pet sitters. The concept is simple: rather than send Rover off to the kennels, sitters can come and live in your home and look after both pet and home while you're away. It's a win-win situation. Rover receives proper one-on-one attention and the sitter gets a holiday of their own for two weeks. You also save $50 a day on kennel expenses, which is a pretty sweet deal! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.6/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Trusted Pet-sitting:** The trend of hiring trusted individuals to look after pets and homes while on vacation is disrupting the traditional kennel industry. - **Shared Home Accommodation:** The trend of sharing homes with trusted individuals provides an opportunity for the travel and accommodation industry to provide more diverse and affordable options. - **Digital Trust Platforms:** TrustedHousesitters.com represents an opportunity for digital businesses to provide a trusted platform connecting pet owners with verified pet-sitters. ### Who This Affects Most - **Pet Care:** The pet care industry has an opportunity to provide more innovative and trusted pet-sitting options. - **Travel:** The travel industry has an opportunity to innovate and improve upon their offerings for pet owners and those seeking affordable accommodation. - **Digital Platforms:** The digital platform industry has an opportunity to create platforms for trusted connections between individuals for various purposes, including pet-sitting and home sharing. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Local Care Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kidsit.md) - [Pet Services Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petsetlife.md) - [Pet Travel Concierge Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-travel-concierge-service.md) - [Festive Pet Streaming Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-for-the-pawlidays.md) - [Pet-Friendly Travel Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-friendly-travel.md) - [Traveler-Focused Pet Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mars-3.md) - [Stress-Reducing Pet Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petsafe.md) - [Pet-Friendly Accommodation Partnerships](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petfriendly-accommodation.md) - [Pet Care Education](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petready.md)
