# Endearing Rabbit Hangers The Frank Wall Hook Secures Household Items with its Ears By Leslie Chen | Published 2012-02-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frank-wall-hook References: [notcot.org](http://www.notcot.org/post/45957/) & [kickstarter](http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1188275304/frank) Most products made for a practical reason can have a less than intriguing design; the Frank Wall Hook strives to combine function with a whimsical feeling. Designed by David Barry, an industrial designer located in Brooklyn, NY, the Frank Wall Hook is made from powder-coated steel to make sure it’s strong enough to hold anything and everything. The screws of the hook act as a way to attach itself onto your wall as well as for the inquisitive eyes of Frank. Artist Barry offers an amusing description of Frank’s journey into becoming a wall hook, saying that he discovered “He was a natural, and was soon holding up all kinds of objects with his ears for hours, even days, at a time,” according to the product’s Kickstarter page.
