Internal organs come inside the toy, so you can literally play dissect-the-monster. The Franciscanus Lobulo Toy is [anatomically correct](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/out-of-orifice), with a large intestine and heart contained in its body. To dissect Franciscanus, you must enter through his rear-end. Although I find this toy quite disturbing, it is a little humorous! **Implications** - There has been a developing fascination with [medical imagery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smashers-horror-house), which can be attributed to the popularization of medical shows such as Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice. Toys that introduce medical dialect to children in a fun way will be embraced by adults who consider these toys to be of personal interest. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Reversible Plush Toys:** Opportunity for creating reversible plush toys that offer a unique and interactive play experience. - **Anatomically Correct Toys:** Opportunity for developing toys that accurately depict internal organs, appealing to children interested in biology and medical concepts. - **Medical-inspired Toys:** Opportunity to create toys that combine medical imagery and play, tapping into the fascination with medical shows and providing educational entertainment for children. ### Where This Applies - **Toy Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in the toy manufacturing industry to create anatomically accurate and reversible plush toys. - **Educational Toys:** Opportunity within the educational toy industry to incorporate medical concepts and imagery into toys for children interested in biology and anatomy. - **Entertainment Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to develop medical-inspired toys that appeal to adults who are interested in medical shows and want to pass on that interest to their children. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Human Body Discovery Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultimate-squishy-human-body.md) - [Educational Anatomy Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/giant-heart-with-hidden-cells.md) - [Medical Preparation Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/medical-preparation-toy.md) - [Reversible Dinosaur Plushies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glow-in-the-dark-dinosaur-plushies.md) - [Creepy Severed Hand Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wednesday-thing.md) - [Emotional Exploration Plushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emotional-baggage-by-solobo-toys.md) - [Charming Creepy Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deddy-bears.md) - [Geometric Designer Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sphericon-dog-chew-toy.md) - [Health Object Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/out-of-orifice.md)
