The Francesco Scognamiglio Fall/Winter 2014/2015 Ads Are Watery

The Francesco Scognamiglio Fall/Winter 2014/2015 campaign features a seaside Karmen Pedaru. In the ads taken by photography duo Sean and Seng, Pedaru was captured before a dark blue sea, drawing attention to her beauty and the alluring appeal of rocky shores.

Stylist Margherita Moro put together the ensembles. In each shot, long draping fabrics made Pedaru appear much like a mermaid. This was apparent via a sheer floor-length aquamarine dress that hung loosely in addition to a nude bustier that clung at the chest and neck. In many ways the advertisements advocate for the less is more look, focusing instead upon natural femininity.

Whether or not one opts for the seafarer look this coming season, Scognamiglio has most definitely delivered an artistic campaign.
