# Laser-Framed Photography The Framera Digital Camera Clearly Outlines the Limits of a Picture By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-10-22 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/framera References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2013/10/21/picture-perfect-and-framed/) When it comes to the Framera digital camera, the concept is fairly simple, yet the execution is precise and the application is wonderfully practical. What this point-and-shoot does is project a rectangular perimeter around its subjects so that everybody knows where the limits of a picture are going to be. This feature would be particularly useful for a photographer at night when it's difficult to see the scene before him on a dark digital display. Equally, folks can know whether or not they've squeezed into a group enough to have their faces included in a given snapshot. Eager photobombers will be able to boast more successful appearances with the Framera, and with attentive use, photographers will have less of a need to crop their images later. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Laser-framed Photography:** Using laser technology to project borders around subjects in photos. - **Precision Photography:** Developing cameras with more precise features to aid photographers. - **Intuitive Photography:** Creating cameras with practical applications for everyday users. ### Where This Applies - **Camera and Photography:** Introducing new features for digital cameras to appeal to consumers. - **Technology and Electronics:** Incorporating laser technology into digital cameras and related devices. - **Retail and Consumer Goods:** Providing consumers with user-friendly and practical digital cameras. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Projected Photo Canvas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixybeam.md) - [Frameable Device Screenshots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/framous.md) - [Translucent Pocket Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clearcam.md) - [Futuristic AI Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-camera-concept.md) - [Tactile Digital Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-1.md) - [Designer Camera Printer Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaroid-trance-camera.md) - [Revive Modern Film Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/analogue-af1.md) - [Imperfect Photography Celebrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nonnas-cam.md) - [Quad-Lens GIF Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moment-3d-camera.md)
