# Street Artist Residencies Artist Fra.Biancoshock Has Created an Installation from Scaffolding By Rebecca Byers | Published 2015-04-16 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frabiancoshock References: [streetartnews.net](http://www.streetartnews.net/2015/03/frabiancoshock-unveils-247-new-urban.html) & [fra-biancoshock.org](http://www.fra-biancoshock.org/) Street artist Fra.Biancoshock has created a conceptual [street art installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fourth-wall) as apart of the Memorie Urbane 2015 festival in Gaeta, Italy. Conceived around the idea of the "artist-in-residence," the '24/7' piece is an ironic criticism of the art world at large and a statement on the differences between the two. Featuring [five levels of scaffolding](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ladder-series), '24/7' has been constructed to display five compartments of the street artist's life. Given that scaffolding is an indispensable tool for any [street art endeavor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light), the installation is particularly poignant in its suggestion that it is more of a lifestyle than just an art form. The Memorie Urbane Street Art Festival is an annual gathering in Italy that is currently in its fourth year. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Conceptual Street Art:** Opportunity for artists to explore and push the boundaries of traditional street art by incorporating deeper concepts and meanings into their work. - **Criticism of the Art World:** An opportunity for artists to create thought-provoking installations that challenge the norms and practices of the art world and spark conversations about its flaws and limitations. - **Integration of Lifestyle and Art:** An opportunity to blur the lines between art and everyday life, allowing artists to express themselves not just through their creations but also by living in and embodying their art. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Street Art:** Opportunity for street artists to evolve their craft by exploring new concepts and pushing the boundaries of traditional street art. - **Art Critique and Analysis:** Opportunity for art critics and analysts to engage in meaningful discussions about the flaws and limitations of the art world, triggered by thought-provoking installations like '24/7'. - **Art Festivals and Events:** Opportunity for organizers of art festivals and events to curate installations that challenge and inspire audiences, sparking conversations and encouraging new ways of thinking about art. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Caravan-Shaped Artist Studios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artist-residency-in-milan.md) - [Optical Illusion Replica Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liberty-science-center.md) - [Bubblegum Street Art Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hubbabubbabuilding.md) - [Transformed Minimal Artist Residency](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quadrodesign.md) - [Gas Rig Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/striking-art-installation.md) - [Street Art-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/met-rooftop.md) - [Distorted Furniture Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light.md) - [Artful Cartoonish Canal Bridges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canal-skybridge.md) - [Liveable Artful Pop-Up Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/julie-cloos-mlsgaard.md)
