The [room dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arches-screen) come in several fresh color options and act as a way to physically separate spaces, while also working to [dampen sound](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abstracta) that would otherwise cause disturbances. The dividers form a set when the variously sized units are paired together to create a wave that will help infuse a touch of whimsy into a space. The 'FP7' acoustic panels are the design work of Claudio Bellini and identify a solution for professionals who require a way to maintain privacy when taking calls or simply looking to break up a space into manageable sections. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multifunctional Room Dividers:** There is an opportunity to expand the use of multifunctional room dividers to provide privacy and sound control in increasingly open workspaces. - **Privacy and Acoustic Solutions:** The combination of privacy and acoustic solutions provides a disruptive innovation opportunity for workspace design. - **Modular Interior Design:** Modular interior design is an emerging trend that can be integrated with technologies like acoustic room dividers to create flexible and dynamic workspaces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture:** There is a potential for architects to design custom acoustic room dividers that are modular, multifunctional, and visually appealing. - **Furniture:** The furniture industry should consider incorporating multifunctional room dividers with other workspace furniture to create customizable solutions. - **Workspace Design:** Workspace designers could offer personalized options for multifunctional room dividers to their clients as a way to create more customizable workspaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Felt-Made Retractable Room Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixels-1.md) - [Design-Conscious Office Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calm-collection.md) - [Recycled Plastic Privacy Panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/privacy-panels.md) - [Rotating Panel Room Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ro-room-dividers.md) - [Acoustic Optimization Office Panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kirei-air-baffle.md) - [Elegant Innovative Room Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glimakra-of-sweden.md) - [Modular Acoustic Screens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harp-system.md) - [Pleated Textile Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plissade.md) - [Geometric Sound-Dampening Wall Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acoustic-compositions.md)
