Denver, Colorado is known for its beer, so it’s no surprise that four of the city’s breweries have produced beers that celebrate--and use the attention from--the election season. Wynkoop Brewing Company has made a Maibock lager and called it Obamanator. Three other politically-inspired beers include Avery Brewing’s Ale to the Chief, Rock Bottom’s Political Ale, and Great Divide’s Liberally Hopped.

**Implications** - The Obamanator Brew exemplifies how the term "celebrity" has been redefined in recent years. Social media has made it much easier for an influential individual to gain the kind of exposure that was once reserved for musicians and actors, proving the infinite power of word of mouth spread online.
