Foster + Partners Introduces Two Stations on the Sydney Metro

Architecture studio [Foster + Partners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/midtown-bus-terminal) has unveiled the latest part of the ongoing Sydney Metro extension project with the [two new stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dongdan-grassland-sea-ruins-station). It opened to the public earlier this week and it is the Gadigal station and Barangaroo station. It is part of the first phase of the Sydney Metro City & Southwear line which runs from Chatswood to Sydenham through central parts of the city.

The head of studio at Foster + Partners, Luke Fox shares the design method, stating "Strengthening our public transportation networks is essential for creating a healthy and sustainable urban environment. Having grown up in Sydney, it has been a great privilege to be involved in this pioneering project that will significantly improve travel across this spectacular city."
