# Reimagined Monolithic Furniture Designs Dmitry Kozinenko Creates Fossil Furniture for oito design By Amy Duong | Published 2025-05-24 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fossil-furniture References: [behance.net](https://www.behance.net/oito_design) Ukranian designer Dmitry Kozinenko designs the Fossil Furniture collection for furniture brand [oitoproducts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archvyli). It is able to be reimagined into familiar furniture themes including a pouf, armchair, and bench, imagined through the notion of monolithic structures and a bright design language. The core concept of the furniture is that it blends various ideas of basic geometry with a [sculptural monolith](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monolit-chair) as the main aesthetic with an upholstered finish. Each piece in the collection resembles the main idea of juxtaposing [geometric silhouettes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co). It merges square and rounded structures in a sense that brings out a feeling of joy. A standout is the Fossil chair with a unique shape -- a gentle curve supported by two straight and supportive legs in the back.
