Made from [poured concrete](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ancora), the light fixture is expertly made by hand and nearly flawless aside from the usual bubbles that can form during the production process. Kitchen decor can get rather brutal, what with stainless steel appliances and roughed-up flooring solutions that are currently flooding the market. Foscarini’s Concrete Aplomb pendant lamp would make a perfect addition to a loft or a kitchen that highlights a more simplistic aesthetic. Concrete is easy to maintain, made to last and will give any space a cold touch that can help contribute to a cleaner environment. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Concrete Pendant Lamps:** The trend of using concrete as a material for pendant lamps offers a unique aesthetic and durability. - **Simplistic Kitchen Decor:** The trend towards simplistic kitchen decor creates opportunities for incorporating minimalist lighting fixtures like Foscarini's Concrete Aplomb pendant lamp. - **Durable Lighting Solutions:** The trend towards using durable materials like concrete in light fixtures provides innovative solutions for long-lasting and low-maintenance lighting options. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can explore the use of concrete pendant lamps to enhance modern and minimalist aesthetics. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** The lighting manufacturing industry can capitalize on the trend of incorporating concrete in light fixtures to offer unique and durable lighting solutions. - **Kitchen Renovation:** The kitchen renovation industry can leverage the trend of simplistic decor by recommending concrete pendant lamps to create a clean and contemporary look. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Volcanic Stone Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foscarini-lava-lamps.md) - [Mixed Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gant-pendant-lights.md) - [Recycled Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zbozhzha-pendant-light.md) - [Exquisite Textured Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendant-lamp1.md) - [Fishnet-Made Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-mycreation-droplet-lamp.md) - [Conical Crossed Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cross-pendant-lamp.md) - [Mouth-Blown Glass Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-pendant-light.md) - [Outlet-Equipped Workstation Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avro-pendant-lamp.md) - [Maximalist Arched Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oblure.md)
