The house is located in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where it is isolated by a sprawling landscape of trees. The house gets its name from its exterior appearance, which shows a [dome-like roof](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/belalu-dome-villa) that extends over the home on different levels. At the front of this fortress home is a [large outdoor pool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-rock) that works into the concrete ground which surrounds it. Large mirrors reveals part of the home's interior, showing a comfortably sized kitchen and a spiral staircase that leads to the second storey. The thermal-protected aluminum panels that encase the home can be brought up to block doors and windows in case of an emergency -- offering both protection and sound proofing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Fortress Homes:** More luxury homes will incorporate high-security features to protect their inhabitants. - **Luxury Security:** High-end designers will focus on building secure, yet luxurious homes for individuals seeking the best of both worlds. - **Smart Security:** Smart home technology will continue to evolve to make luxury homes more secure and run efficiently. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Luxury Real Estate:** Luxury real estate developers will embrace high-security features as a selling point to attract affluent buyers. - **Security Systems:** Security system companies will develop customised products to cater to the growing demand for high-end security features in luxury homes. - **Smart Home Technology:** Smart home technology companies will develop new products to enhance security and convenience in luxury homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Blocky Stone Perimeter Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forte-house.md) - [Hidden Resort Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stealth-1.md) - [Underground Autonomous Shelter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plan-b-1.md) - [Transparent Shell-Covered Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-brisa.md) - [Castle-Inspired Cylindrical Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-del-tec.md) - [Castle-Inspired Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hollywood-hills-house-1.md) - [Fort-Inspired Retro Rotundas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fort-137.md) - [Forest Sanctuary Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sadowski-house.md) - [Anticipatory Architectural Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vulcan-house.md)
