Amid the tears streaming down its cartoonish face, this statue has a smile and look in its eyes that shows the promise of tomorrow and an acceptance of its lonely state. Designed by Matt Scone and Sanden Henning, the Forever Alone Statue has been [manually casted in resin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neojomon-biomorphic-fantme) and painted by hand. The first batch only consisted of 30 pieces in order for the creators to assess how much time and cost it would take to make them. Reaching seven inches high and weighing only one and a half pounds, the Forever Alone Statue would make a small and hilarious addition to any home or office workspace. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Rage Faces-inspired Sculptures:** Opportunity for artists and designers to create unique sculptures inspired by internet culture and memes. - **Hilarious Emotional Expressions:** Potential for products and services that leverage humor and emotional expression to connect with consumers. - **Handcrafted Resin Statues:** Market for handcrafted resin statues with unique designs and limited edition batches. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for artists and designers to create sculptures inspired by internet culture and emotional expressions. - **Entertainment:** Opportunity for entertainment companies to incorporate internet humor and emotional expression into their content and merchandise. - **Home Decor:** Potential market for unique and humorous home decor items, such as the Forever Alone Statue. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Generated Statues](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-statue.md) - [Expressive 3D-Printed Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solobo-emotion-friends.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Artful Anime-Blending Split Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/split-bust.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Artist-Designed Sports Statues](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/louis-de-guzman.md) - [Art Sculpture Miniature Replicas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/love-replica.md) - [Striking Wearable Sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wearable-sculpture-1.md) - [Sci-Fi Show Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yusuke-hanai-1.md)
